Masters Rowing
The DBCC Masters Program welcomes those with sweep oar rowing experience wishing to be competitive, whilst having fun, and racing at local, national and international regattas.
The Master's Program emphasizes technical improvement, with the goal to be competitive with other masters racing programs throughout the US, in all age groups for men and women. It is designed for rowers with previous experience in sweep oar rowing, although sculling opportunities also exist.
Progression to this program is generally for those who have completed a Learn to Row Program AND then rowed in a Rec program for a year or more, or those who rowed in High School and/or College and wish to continue (or return to) the sport and take their rowing skills to the next level.
Rowers will practice 4 mornings per week under coached supervision, and are encouraged to train off-water (erging, weights, running) on their own at least 2 days per week.
